Level 1: Fundamentals
New Session in Fayetteville will begin in June! Registration is open!
When: 6pm -7pm Tuesdays, starting June 20, 2023
Where: The Pride of Arkansas Cheer & Dance Academy, Fayetteville AR
Fee: $150 for the 12 week session, or $90 by half session.
Our Fundamentals class is designed to share our delight and expertise in cued group improvisational belly dance. Students will learn the basics of technique, improvisation mechanics, and movement vocabulary needed to dance in a group with no choreography needed over the course of twelve weeks. All experience levels, sizes, shapes, and genders welcome!
Necessary Equipment: Water bottle, form-fitting workout clothes, bare feet OR dance studio shoes - ballet slippers or jazz shoes with a minimal heel are best. Hip scarves are a fun addition! After registration, students will receive an email with more details.

Level 2/3: Intermediate/Advanced
When: 6pm -7pm Thursdays, starting January 13, 2023
Where: The Pride of Arkansas Cheer & Dance Academy, Fayetteville AR
Fee: $150 for the 12 week session, or $90 per 6 weeks.
In our Intermediate class, students will learn addition dance vocabulary, variations on fundamental movements, more complex formations, and begin exploring musicality in dance as well as learning stage skills as performance preparation.
Necessary equipment: Same as in Level 1 plus finger cymbals; listed above.
Registration requires instructor approval; please contact us if you've taken classes before and are interested in joining Level 2/3!
Meet Your Instructor
Angela Gardner
Angela began teaching in Fayetteville in 2014, the same year she had the honor of studying with FCBD® Style originators Carolena Nericcio and Megha Gavin and earning her General Skills certification. She has taught off and on since then, and brings a big-picture understanding of FCBD Style, attention to detail, and the patience to help students tie it all together.
